- The old timber deck was very rotten and slippery due to its old age. It was very dangerous. Therefore, there had to be a new deck composite installed.Our steps:
We got rid of the old deck.
We leveled the soil. After that, we put a concrete post, to anchor the treated timber frame.
We put a weed membrane on top of the soil, to protect the deck from any weeds that might grow in the future.
We fitted the new composite deck with special clips.
A composite deck is better than a normal deck, because, it does not require any maintenance while also preventing any slipping. Likewise, its color is everlasting no matter how long time passes.
